In the Gospels, there is a passage where the apostles report to Jesus the miracles they have performed and how they have encountered other people who were performing the same miracles and have tried to stop them. Jesus' response is marked by sagacity: he advises them not to hinder these other individuals in the exercise of their miraculous gifts because all this is done for the glory of God.

This lesson is meaningful and remains relevant even in our present times. It reminds us that miracles and acts of grace should not be reserved for a few select individuals. Rather, they are a demonstration of God’s power and benevolence, and everyone should be free to manifest them. This narrative also invites us to embrace an attitude of acceptance and tolerance toward those who have spiritual experiences that differ from those we personally know. Rather than criticizing or setting them up for failure, it is better to support them and recognize that each individual can be a vehicle for the higher will.
In summary, Jesus transmits to his disciples values such as generosity, humility and open-mindedness. Let us follow his model and let the divine light shine through each of us, no matter our spiritual journey.
